As these are the store’s slowest months, it’s a fantastic opportunity for me to stock up on unique and hard to find oldees for you - this week will not disappoint - I have some really really cool antiques for you!I have to say - I think this is the largest old cookie cutter I have ever sold - it's 6 1/2" by 4 5/16!" What I have is an antique tin cookie cutter - it's a flat topped cutter in the shape of a running bunny. The bunny measures 6 3/8" by 4" largest and 5/8" deep. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition, with an age darkened patina. There's are isolated spots of surface rust that are light and surface only. The handle had a line ding to it pretty much in the center that pushes one side of the handle down a little - that does not affect the cutter itself, and the handle is totally solid and sturdy still. Antique Vintage 1950 rare Mars Staedtler tin pencil box. In very good condition. It has original sticker regarding type of pencil it had in it. Sticker reads Mars Lumograph 2886 H. Made in germany stamp on reverse. The tin is in very nice condition on the inside and outside.Very little wear. Box size is 7.2" long 2.5 wide.

This is an antique/vintage "Central Union Cut Plug" store tobacco tin. I have owned this piece for many years. The tin container measures 4" in height (6.5" to the top of the handle), 7" in width, and 4.75" in depth. The tin has a soft red background color, with gold metallic graphics outlined in black. This piece has little to no rust, but it does have some paint loss, mostly from handling it during its years of use in a store. You can see in pictures 2, 4 & 5 that the paint has completely worn away around the rim of the hinged lid. It would be interesting to know how many times the lid was opened and closed. It is amazing that the hardware is completely intact and works properly. You can still see some of the paint loss around the lid in pictures 3 & 6 which show the two ends of the piece. In picture 6, which is the right end as you're looking at the piece, there is some slight denting. There is one dent directly above the word "Smoke" and another through the "Centr" of "Central" and through the "Cu" of "Cut". There is another slight dent through the "on" of "Union" in that same area. These are not distracting, but worth mentioning. Pictures 7 & 8 show the interior of the piece. There is some discoloration, as would be expected, but no rust. Picture 9 shows the outer top lid with a slight thumbnail dent on the right side, about an inch to the right of the "G" in the word "Plug". Picture 10 shows the bottom of the piece with some scratches to the paint. Picture 11 is a close-up showing some of the paint loss around the rim of the lid. Picture 12 shows this tin along with another Central Union Cut Plug tin that I am in the process of listing in a separate auction. I am offering each of these tins at a reasonable starting price and with No Reserve. I have other auctions and am happy to offer combined shipping. International bidders are welcome.
