This is a Vintage Hoppes 3oz Lubricating Lead Top Oil Can in good to excellent condition Mfg. by Frank A. Hoppe, Inc. Philadelphia,Pa. It comes with the original cap, little to no discoloration, bright bold orange and black original finish, one small thumb depression on the back with the rest of the can dent free, and a few scratches/wear spots in isolated locations. The Lead Top is stamped Hoppes Oil. The photos show all sides. Registered by the Coca Cola Co., there is wonderful detailing in this piece, down to the curls in Santa’s beard and the Coca Cola lettering on the tiny bottle. Santa’s banner reads “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”. Ready to hang in a special spot on your Holiday tree! Hard, resin like plastic, bright colors and in excellent condition. Stands 4.5″ tall x 3″ wide. No box. Back of the ornament is stamped with 1949 (I assume this is an identifying Model No.) and the bottom dates it as 1990 with the registration note. Very old advertising sign. Believe it is a “Budweiser” sign, but the label has worn off. Shows 2 fish in the picture, and one of the backlights work!! This sign is 18 inches wide X 15 inches tall and 3.5 inches thick.
